What is the difference between a trading address and a registered address?

The registered address is the address a company has listed at Companies House that official communication will be sent to, whilst the trading address is the address (or on of the addresses) that a company trades from. These may be different, as many companies want official communications to go to their accounting department (which may be in a satellite office) or to an external accountant.
